Part Link Sale Terms and Conditions

DEFINITION / COMPANY: “Part Link” shall mean SNC Auto (Pty) Ltd., Registration No. 2025/890260/07 & any branches, franchises, associate companies or assigns trading under the same title.

DELIVERY: All goods ex-stock is delivered via our network of road freight companies. The cost of any related freight is for the purchaser’s account. The risk of transported goods passes to the purchaser on delivery of the goods to the freighter. Insurance and cost thereof on freighted goods are the purchaser’s responsibility and must be expressly mentioned.

LIABILITY FOR DELIVERY: While we are committed to a quick and efficient delivery service, we are unable to guarantee delivery times. Accordingly, delivery times are approximations only and we shall under no circumstances be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses suffered or incurred by the delay in delivery. We are also not liable for any incorrect order or delivery where you make an error in the information that you provide to us. (for example, incorrect delivery address or submit an incorrect order)

PRODUCT IMAGES & REPRESENTATION:

  • We strive for accuracy in displaying product images, features, and descriptions.
  • Packaging may change over time, meaning actual deliveries may vary slightly in appearance.
  • Product descriptions and model numbers take precedence over images in the event of a dispute.
  • Colours may vary depending on your monitor settings; Part Link cannot guarantee exact colour accuracy. Customers remain responsible for ensuring the correct product is ordered.

STOCK AVAILABILITY: All products are quoted subject to availability from our suppliers at the time of quotation, unless expressly stated otherwise. Due to the inherently fluctuating nature of supplier inventory, stock availability cannot be guaranteed at any time, including after an order has been placed or payment has been received.

In the event that one or more items are found to be out of stock after payment has been made, the customer will be notified and may exercise one of the following options:

  • Place the affected item(s) on backorder, to be fulfilled once stock becomes available;
  • Select a suitable alternative product, subject to any price difference applying; or
  • Receive a refund for the out-of-stock item(s) only (excluding the remainder of the order, which will continue to be processed).

PRICING: Pricing is subject to change at any point without notice. Quotations are thus only valid for 3 days.

ADDITIONAL TERMS RELATING TO PRICING, DELIVERY AND AVAILABILITY

  • Products are subject to stock availability and are delivered only within supported South African areas (confirmed at checkout). Customers are responsible for providing correct delivery details.
  • Online prices are valid only in South Africa for the day viewed and do not apply to physical stores.
  • We reserve the right to change prices, discontinue products, or alter specifications without prior notice, subject to CPA provisions.
  • If an item is out of stock, we will attempt to contact you to cancel or adjust your order. If we cannot reach you, you agree to accept and pay for the items successfully delivered.
  • Prices charged are those reflected on the website at purchase, excluding “Inadvertent and Obvious Errors.”

INADVERTENT AND OBVIOUS ERRORS

  • If an obvious and inadvertent error occurs regarding price, description, or images (including technical or system errors), we are not obliged to supply the affected product.
  • We will make every effort to notify you. In such cases, you may cancel the purchase, and we will issue a full refund for any amounts paid.

ORDER AND DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

  • Placing an order online constitutes your offer to purchase. An automated receipt email confirms we received your order, but does not constitute acceptance of your offer.
  • A binding contract is only formed when we deliver or hand over the products for collection. Order confirmation emails or payment receipts do not constitute acceptance.
  • Delivery dates are estimates. We will notify you of any delays or unavailable items. If we reject an order, we will cancel it and refund any payments made as soon as possible.

TECHNICAL DATA AND DIMENSIONS: Descriptions, dimensions and data are obtained from manufacturers of the specific parts and products. Whilst every caution is exercised to ensure accuracy, they, and in turn Snc Auto (Pty) Ltd., offer no guarantee of the absolute correctness thereof.

(Act 68 of 2008), to the extent that the customer qualifies as a consumer as defined in the Act.

GENERAL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT: To qualify for any warranty claim, all engine parts and vehicle components must be installed by a qualified, professional technician, and verifiable proof of professional installation (invoice/workshop job card) must be provided.

COMPONENT-SPECIFIC WARRANTY CONDITIONS: In addition to professional installation, warranty claims for specific parts are strictly contingent upon meeting the following criteria:

Water Pumps & Radiators:

  • Requirement: Proof of anti-freeze purchase AND a cooling system pressure test report (conducted with the radiator installed on the vehicle).
  • Failure to provide both will void the claim.

Camshafts, Cam Followers & Rockers:

  • Requirement: High-pressure assembly/cam lube must be applied during initial installation to prevent premature wear.
  • Failure to use approved assembly lube voids the warranty.

Air Conditioning Compressors:

  • Requirement: The condenser and expansion valve must be replaced, and the full AC system flushed, prior to installing the new compressor.
  • Proof of replacement components and flushing is required for any claim.

Fuel Pumps:

  • Requirement: The fuel tank must be thoroughly cleaned prior to installation.
  • Proof of tank cleaning/flushing is mandatory for any claim.

Clutch Kits (Solid Mass Flywheels):

  • Requirement: The solid flywheel must be re-machined to original manufacturer specifications prior to fitment.

Clutch Kits (Dual Mass Flywheels):

  • Requirement: The dual mass flywheel must be replaced in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Clutch & Brake Master / Slave Cylinders:

  • Requirement: Must be installed exclusively by a qualified RMI technician. The manufacturer’s specified bleeding procedure must be strictly followed to prevent internal seal damage or low pressure.

Turbochargers & Turbo Cores (CHRA):

Requirement: Parts must be fitted by a qualified turbo technician possessing a valid Garrett qualification number.

CREDIT RETURNS: Goods for which there is a valid reason for return, will be accepted for credit within 10 (ten) days from the date of purchase/delivery, after which handling charges will be applicable. The following items are excluded from being credited;

  • Goods which have been correctly supplied
  • Goods returned more from 20 days from date of invoice/delivery regardless of the circumstances
  • Goods that have been fitted, damaged goods, gasket sets that have been opened and goods not in their original and undamaged packaging
  • All electrical and electronic items

The freight cost of goods returned must be paid by the purchaser.

Parts supplied incorrectly due to incorrect or lack of information given may attract a 25% handling fee.

Any returns must be sent back in original packaging.

Refunds are subject to inspection of all goods returned.

CLAIMS: It is essential that components, parts, equipment or related items are fitted/installed by a suitably qualified technician. Proof of compliance is the customers responsibility prior to any claim under the warranty, being entertained. Proof of failure of an electrical or electronic item must be accompanied by a certificate from an independent testing facility or a printout from a diagnostic machine to substantiate the claim. Failure to provide this is an inference that the fitment/installation was done without the correct/necessary equipment and the claim is voided.
