AirCraft Plastic Breather Silencer 3/4" BSP Male Orange (SG SU-20)
At a Glance: 3/4" BSP Male plastic breather silencer for quieter, higher-flow pneumatic exhaust
Big air systems can make big noise—especially at exhaust points. The AirCraft SG SU-20 Plastic Breather Silencer is designed for larger 3/4" BSP male ports, helping diffuse exhausting air to soften discharge noise while acting as a practical barrier against dust and debris at breather/exhaust openings. It’s a solid upgrade for industrial pneumatic valves, manifolds and air control components where higher airflow and day-to-day durability matter.
The 3/4" BSP size is well suited to higher-volume exhaust applications, dispersing airflow through a vented body to help cut harsh noise without bulky metal mufflers.

Features
- 3/4" BSP Male (M) thread Fits larger pneumatic exhaust and breather ports.
- Plastic diffuser body Lightweight construction designed to disperse exhaust airflow.
- Noise-reducing breather design Helps soften pneumatic exhaust sound levels in operation.
- Helps block dust and debris Supports cleaner air handling at breather/exhaust points.
Benefits
- Quieter industrial operation: Helps reduce exhaust noise from larger pneumatic components.
- Cleaner system performance: Helps limit contamination at breather/exhaust openings.
- Quick screw-in upgrade: Easy installation for immediate improvement in comfort and tidiness.
Extra Information
- Commonly fitted to industrial solenoid valve exhausts, pneumatic manifolds, air control blocks and larger actuators.
- Install into a compatible 3/4" BSP port and ensure there is enough clearance around the silencer for free airflow diffusion.
- In dusty environments, inspect regularly and replace if clogged to avoid restricting exhaust flow.
- Reminder: Excessive exhaust restriction can affect valve/cylinder speed—choose the correct size for your airflow requirements.
Pro Tip
- After installation, cycle the system and listen for changes—if exhaust sounds muted but response slows, check for blockage or consider a higher-flow exhaust solution.
Safety
- Wear eye, ear and dust protection when working around compressed air systems and exhaust ports.
- Depressurise the system before installing or removing breathers/silencers.
- Do not restrict exhaust outlets—blocked exhaust can affect pneumatic performance and safe operation.
- Inspect and replace in dusty environments to prevent clogging and backpressure.
